| | As I sit here today on Christmas day I have had a lot of time to just sit and think about this last year, all the fun I had, all the regrets. I know that in all 2006 was not the worst year I have had, but it isn't the best one either. In 2006 I had some of the longest jobs i have held to date, I didn't spend a lot of time getting to know new people, but the ones I took the time to know have been wonderful people. I have learned many things from them. For example, about 4 months ago I moved in with Greg, Hunter, and Leah. From them I have learned many things: From Greg I learned how to be stable and have a lot of fun while I am at it, from Hunter that it is okay to be a kid even if you are officially an adult, from Leah I learned that there are a lot of other people like me. Leah and I could have been siblings. I also met other people that have taught me many other important lessons. Garth taught me that it is okay to be ambitious, however, you don't want to overdo anything, it may lead to too much chaos in your life. Richard has taught me patience. I feel as if I have grown so much in just six months of knowing them, but I also feel like I gained something I lost a long time ago: My life is back under control. However, despite all the learning I have done about myself this year, I did have many things that make it a bad year for me. I moved away from Git. This saddens me greatly, but I know it was time for that to change. I left Springfield, along with many good friends that I left there. I know when I call back to them sometimes that I am missed, but I also know that nobody really dwells on it. I also learned that I could have spent a good portion of the year with some really great guys, but was unaware of their feelings when I moved away. So I missed out on some great possible relationships, for which I will not be able to forgive myself. I am truly sorry about that. I have been able to keep an eye on my friends all over the state, and sadly lost contact with a few of them. I also believe that it is possible that I will never be able to date a guy again, this is because I realized what was wrong with all my previous relationships I have loved them all, but not like I should have. I have treated them all like pets. I loved them like I loved my cat, and that was not right. I have come to believe that this is the reason why all my relationships fail. However, looking back I am not terribly sad, just a little sad because of my own selfish reasons. I have nobody to spend a holiday like this with, aside from my room mates, whom are all out with their families because I didn't wish to trouble them with petty things like being saddened that everyone else has a life to go to. I will be fine though. I just think I need a boyfriend. It has been now 11 months since my last relationship, January 25th will be the 12 months of single life for me. I am half tempted to see if I can make it until then, however, my heart aches at the thought of being single a full year. Well, that should be enough for now. | | I just remembered this site! Okay, so here's how live has been lately. I don't remember the last time I posted, so I'll start from when I left Springfield. The way it happened was pretty much a spur of the moment move to Albany. The idea was that I would have a better job and a boyfriend, plus great people to live with. Well, we got to Albany, it took me a month to get a better job, ended up having my heart broken by a guy, and then, well, the home life went to shit. It basically boiled down to Git's new girlfriend and I don't do well living together. After a couple nights of immaturity, we decided it best that one of us move out, and so Git moved out with her. So now I live with Greg for about two weeks before Hunter moves in. A couple weeks later, Hunter's girlfriend moves in. So far the home live is going pretty well. Leah (Hunter's girlfriend) and Greg have decided that they are going to quit smoking, and because I have that guilt thing, I'm cutting back and probably will quit smoking as well. I heard that Duncan was coming up for New Years. I really look forward to that. I haven't seen him in like two years.....kinda miss you Duncan if you're reading this. Oh, and NEVER work for a hotel. I have a few bad stories about hotels since I quit that job. Insurance companies aren't much better, but at least you don't have to look at the person face to face when they get pissed at you. | | Okay, so for all of you who don't know this, I am moving to Albany with Git. After a couple days in that town I hate it. We walked all over it for two days, then the third we crashed at Autumn's house. That town fucking sucks. Still moving there though. Git got an $8 per hour job with a chance to move to a $10 per hour after 60 days. It rocks. I may bet getting the $8 job soon though. That will be nice. Beth has that job too and she is going to be living with us. Problem is that I'm not totally sure that I want to move anymore. One of the reasons I was going up that way was so that Mike and I could spend time together, but it looks like he doesn't like that idea much. I saw him a total for about two hours in three days, and when we were supposed to stay the night he flaked out on us. *sigh* Maybe I wasn't supposed to be born with emotions. | | Okay, so I was really excited because Beth and Mike were coming over with some sugar gliders. However, as per everything else that gets me really excited, the plan changed. At first Autumn was coming down, then it was only Beth and Mike and of course the gliders. Then Autumn and her boyfriend were coming, Then Mike was leaving a couple days early, then Mike isn't coming and Autumn and her boy might not come over. So it looks like it is Beth and the gliders. | Okay, so new news first. Uhh.....SHOPPING SPREE! Okay, so Git and I went shopping today....we bought a new baby PS2 (the thin ones) and by doing so have finished an ENTIRE generation of game systems! We have the Gamecube, Gameboy SP, PS2, and X-box. Go us! All we need now is the PS1 to finish the generation before that one...lol. Our house is more and more of a gamer's haven every day. Almost quite literally.... Okay, we bought some more games for the X-box and the PS2 (since we didn't have any....) and we got the NEW Final Fantasy movie. Yeah, BEFORE it hits theatres (if it was going to....). We're gonna watch it tomorrow. I'll tell ya'll how it is. Okay, lesse.....oh yeah. Beth came over a couple days ago. She brought Wisper, Jasper, and Dimitri with her. They are sugar gliders. Dimitri hid in the couch. He hates me....Jasper seemed to like me. Wisper loves everyone I think. She's a sweetie tough. She made sure you were clean. Obsessive groomer....lol. We reached a point where Dimitri was on Git, Jasper on me, and Wisper on Beth. It was a cute picture. Sadly, nobody took pictures. *sigh*
Oh, on Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic I think I may have almost beat the game....maybe. I've hit a point where aiming and killing doesn't seem to work. Fighting the Dark Lord of the Sith, Malak, who is my former apprentice. Long story....he's easy enough, but the room I fight him in is draining my life and funneling that life energy into his powers. FUCKING LAME! *sigh*
Oh yeah, we also spent about a hundred dollars on books today.
We got ANOTHER manager at the hotel. This one is ex-FBI. He rocks. *shrug* Uhh....yeah. Oh! My brother is going to get married next labor day. So I have to take a week off for a trip to Hawaii. Damn. That will suck SO much....lol. A week in the tropics....vs.....work. Yeah, one ticket for the tropics please! So I'll be back after a week in Hawaii all tan and relaxed. Maybe be blonde again. | | Okay, so last night I got home from work, hopped on gay.com 'cause I was bored, got hit on by a 16 year old boy, and proceded to talk to my kind of crush Jeremy. Turns out that Jeremy is currently dating someone (Found this out from the 16 year old....he's friends with Jeremy) and guess what. Going with my current luck spree with boys, Jeremy is dating my ex Adam...so sad. Adam is a good guy, and Jeremy deserves him I guess, but still...the jealousy bug bites, and bites hard. Dammit all to hell. I have decided that I give up on boys. Not worth the effort, pain, and tears. So fuck 'em all. Well, the gay ones at least. Bi and straight guys are still cool (assuming they don't want in my pants). Besides, it isn't like I don't have a girlfriend, or that I own more than like three of my body parts. My female friends seem to think that my body parts belong to them. My shoulders belong to Michelle still...my butt seems to be a whore with all my female friends. They all claim it belongs to them....*sigh* I've lost my fair share of potential boyfriends when one tried to cop a feel around one of my girl friends...naturally she informed him that that was hers....*sigh* I need chocolate, peanut butter, honey, and marshmellow cream. Oh, and a tortilla. Compfort food is good. Yeah, Bren and Git know what I do with most of those... Most people think its gross (minds out of the gutter please! Hentai!) I think it tastes good, if a bit of a calorie overload, but the sugar is good for me. I need to add some more mass to myself. Everyone MUST read it....it makes me happy...so does the Resident Evil book series...I just got my hands on book 0, yes there is a book zero....and now we have books 0, 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6! | Oh....my.....fuck! Okay, so I used to complain about not getting enough hours at work...it FINALLY came to bite me in the ass... I get to work 8 days...some of them at 3:15 pm, others at 11 pm. My favorite one happened...uhh....the other day? I dunno...it's kind of a blur. Well, anyway, I got to work for Sarah at the Front Desk so Sarah could go to her friend's wake. He passed on at the ripe old age of 22 in a logging accident. Poor guy. Well, Sarah came after I worked five hours for her, and then I got to come in at 4 am until 7 am to finish training Git, however, we were so far behind that we stayed over until about...uh....like 7:20ish... only to return to work AGAIN at 3 pm....to top it all off...the guests today....*screams*

I was happy when he called Git...jealous...but happy. I was practically glowing when he invited me to be his friend on myspace. | Okay, so I used to think that the Laundry job at the hotel was a piece of cake...not so much....
I just got home from my first day of training in Night Laundry. I learned A LOT from Rabia tonite...last night? I dunno, whatever. Yes. I spent the first two hours scrubbing that black shit off the bottom of pans and splash pans...I was sweating so bad that I was dripping. The rest is kind of a blur...I remember Rabia saying that I apparently already knew how to fold the towels, learned new ways to fold shower curtains, mattress pads, blankets, bedspreads, and flat sheets. I also learned how to fold single pillow cases that don't go into sheet packs. Also learned a new way to make a sheet pack that looks AWESOME! Rabia said I did it perfectly on my first one! YAY! Ow....
Delivery went well. Well, except for the part where Pam took the new mattress pads, tore them open, re-folded them HER way, and didn't think Rabia, Tomasita, and myself would notice or care if we did. She was wrong. Tomasita, Rabia, and myself spent an additional 15 minutes folding them the right way and to hell with Pam. We didn't put them back. Just left them downstairs. Heather is going to talk to Pam about that.
It's payday! YAYNESS! Sadly, Heather said that Tomasita and I couldn't get our checks until noon...So in 4.5 hoursish I get to wake my happy ass up and go get paid, then pay bills and shit. It fucking sucks...
